We once lost photos due to a computer crash and since then, I tend to over-react when I hear about lost photos for anyone.
It's one of my not-so-loveable traits![]()
Totally makes sense now.

I journaled my wedding planning, pregnancy, and the first two years of DS's life on this one message board...then I took some time off of it, only to come back and find out that they had changed the format, TWICE, and everything was LOST. I had the pictures, but the words, the stories, the little things I didn't manage to put down on paper, it was all gone. like...no one has any idea what DS said when he wanted to be up in our arms...it was cute, it was not an English word of any kind, but we can't remember. I put it in my journal and didn't think to put it in the paper journal. Can't think about that anymore. Too hard.
I should be more obviously empathetic and use more words when typing on my phone! Sorry if I was curt (rather than simply "brief" as I was going for)
The one thing Disney has done during all of these website changes that I think has caused the most panic is their lack of appropriate error messages. So pictures are just gone, instead of the site being down for maintenance. They do the former, cause panic in the streets, when they COULD just do the latter. Telling us our ADRs are gone, randomly causing things to disappear, etc...it could all be done so much better. But no.
