We have for the past years alwasy purchased the photopass /photopass +. Today I went to review so that I could order my CD and all the photos were there this am and as of 1 hr ago they are gone. I tried to reach out to the support team, but outside the hours. The photo notice said I had until tomorrow. Too sad for words -Anyone have any suggestions for help.

My wife worked on an album for 4 hours today and now everything is gone!

I have had the issue that I got notice that my photos were going to disappear (it said photopass pics), I had gone in later after getting my CD in the mail, uploaded my pics from the CD and our trip and made an album. I paid no attention to the email as I had no photopass pics, what did I have to bother?

Fast forward a few days after this and I go in to purchase the photobook I had made over weeks worth of working on it since their site is so SLOW!!!! ALLLL gone! I called them the next day (because it was after hours) and explained things, the lady put it all back on for 15 more days for me (free) to go and make my purchase which I did that night! So yes they DO have your stuff still, somewhere! She said it isn't just photopass pics it is any pics on the site. And if you have a project with a pic that was deleted, the project goes away as well! GRRRR

All mine disappeared 3 years ago and I was devastated, I haven't even brought a camera with me. However, after e-mailing them, the photos were back the following day. All their servers are backed up and they can restore them from an earlier save. All is not lost yet.

Someone on another thread posted that this worked for them - when you sign on to mydisneyphotopass.com, select DisneyLAND and you will be directed to the old photopass website where projects from before the switch are being stored.

It is possible the server is down at the moment.
I worked on some photopass borders earlier today.
I tried to access it tonight and it says I have no pictures.
I know I have another 20 days or so before they expire.

No dice on this one. Thanks anyway. Hopefully it's just a temporary server issue. Email to support has been sent. They will be called first thing in the morning!

Aw, sorry. Worth a try though. I hope it gets sorted out for you guys!

your countdown clock says its been 45 days since your were at the world.
By chance do the pictures expire

Everything is back this morning! Yea!!

I am so glad that people are able to get their photos back, but it is making me sick to my stomach that someone at Disney thought they could just do this without tons of advanced notice!

Does anyone know if you can access the Disney PhotoPass site from an iPad? Because I think that I will have to be working on the photos during our down times at night during our vacation and I am leaving my laptop at home. DH, however, brings his iPad everywhere.

(And no, he will not be taking it into the park to take photos and video, he knows better than that!:thumbsup2)

TIA!

Yes, we used an iPad to access our PhotoPass photos on our last trip. I would check our photos each night after we got back to the room just to make sure they came out o.k. and we weren't missing any! :goodvibes

If you have all your pictures put on the cd, can't you just get them from that? Do you have to create your photo book with disney or can you use say shutterfly? Glad everything came back. I'm trying to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing.

You have to put your card numbers in the website, edit the pictures if you want, and then have the CD shipped(or download the photos).

The previous posters have not received their CDs yet.

You can create your photo book anywhere.

Sounds like it was just a blip since it happened to more than one person. And it was easily resolved. Calm your stomach. It's OK.

We once lost photos due to a computer crash and since then, I tend to over-react when I hear about lost photos for anyone.

It's one of my not-so-loveable traits;)

Not sure if you got them back, but recently they have been having server issues where some pics are not available and then they are back later. I just checked mine and they are still there. On Monday they went missing, but were up later in the day. I would check back and call them. I had pictures once that were more than a year old and they were able to find them. I had taken a photo of the card number and had that. They searched the number and the pictures were there after about 10 minutes. Good luck.

Viewing your photos on an iPad generally does not work. The site uses flash and generally will not "pull" photos into your account if you try to view on a mobile device.

I haven't tried it on the new site but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't pull still.
