Hi can someone help me with a quick question. Last year I bought photo pass plus but when we went to our character dine restaurants we were told those photographs weren't included and we had to buy them additionally. I have read things on these boards which say they are can anyone shed more light on this for me. We are going again next year and would like to know what is the deal with these.

There are 3 versions of Photopass that I'm aware of.

The first basic version known just as Photopass. That is for the photopass photos taken by photographers only.

The 2nd version is Photopass +. This version allows you to add attraction photos and dining photos to your photopass. If you did buy Photopass +, you should have been allowed to put the dining photos on it. It isn't the basic photopass card - it's a different looking card that you have to pick up at certain locations in the parks I believe. Maybe you didn't have the right card. I will be experiencing this on my next trip for the first time.

The 3rd version is the Photopass attractions only. That allows you to put the photopass pictures taken of rides only.

It's confusing. There may even be more out there that I'm not aware of but these are 3 versions I know about.

Fantastic thank you I d think I bought photo pass plus but didn't get the right card last time I will research x

I've only heard of 2 versions. Photopass. Photopass Plus.

I have used plus several times now, and don't have issues getting the dining photos on the card. You may not have had the actual Photopass Plus. As stated, you buy this in advance, get a coupon thing to redeem at the photo shops in the parks. They are usually at the front gate. When they give the photopass plus card, it comes on a lanyard and you can wear it around your neck.

You would know if you had plus, because you have to redeem it at the park. If you didn't do this, you had the regular one. And then you have to pay for dining pics. To me, all the times I have bought it, it comes out costing less than buying the pics.

There are 3 versions available.

Photopass: This is available for the pre-purchase price price of $129? (it used to be $99). This gives the pictures (digital, put on a CD) taken by photopass photographers throughout the park (EXCEPT at dining locations). If you wait to purchase it AFTER you have returned from your trip, it is much more expensive.

Photopass Plus: This is available for the pre-purchase price of $149 (it used to be $169 but it lowered). You get all the pictures (digital) taken by Photopass photographers throughout the park, the character dining photos (print & digital added to your card) and ride photos (digital only, at various locations). This is also available to purchase AT the park for $199.95 + tax (no annual passholder discount)

Attractions: This is available for $49-ish (?): This gives you the ride photos (digital only)
