I want to order the Photopass+ for $149 (on sale) for our July trip. This photopass+ includes attractions pictures also. But when I go to the website, I can only purchase the photo CD for $119 without the attractions. Does anyone know how to preorder the photopass+ online? Thanks for your help.

Thanks so much Kate! We are going in July but I want to get the Photopass+ purchased and paid for. Thanks again for your help.

Can any one tell me the difference between the two options?

The regular photopass is the pictures taken by Disney photographers in the parks. Photopass+ also has several of the ride pictures (space mountain, ToT, expedition Everest and more) and meal pictures (tusker house Ohanas chef Mickey) they are all added to the Cd you get plus the meal pictures you get during you meal. We are doing + again on our upcoming trip. It is well worth it, especially if you do any of the meal locations.

In addition to the previous poster 's comments, photopass plus also comes with a CD of stock photos.

For meal photos with plus, you get digital copies and prints. For ride photos, you get just digital copies.

Another difference is that for plus, you must order at least 14 days before your trip, because they snail mail a voucher that must be redeemed for the plus card.

Silly question, if I want PhotoPass+, do I need to have my reservation number when I order it so that the voucher can come in my packet?

Am I making sense?:confused3

Another silly question: At some of the character meals there is a charge for the photos. Is there still a charge with PhotoPass+ - even if you only opt for the digital ones?

TIA

No, you do not need to provide a reservation number. You can go to the pre arrival website and order it yourself.

No additional charge for meal photos if you have bought photopass plus. You will get digital copies and the print package.

Nope, PhotoPass + is a separate thing; it's not connected to your reservation.

No. The whole point of getting PhotoPass + is not having to pay for dining and ride photos to have them put on your account.

Thanks! :)

Just the thought of not having to worry about packing all those ride photos makes me giddy!:cool1:

And they will send me the voucher separately, right?

Yes, your voucher and the CD of stock photos will come together.

Thank you both for the wonderful information... I had no idea! :goodvibes

Does anyone know if this is open to us in the UK to pre-purchase too?

I think with UK you get your agent to book it to your room where you pick up your voucher when you check in.

PLUS is only good for 14 days. and you get ONLY one card-- so its not good for a Group of more then one family to share unless you are going to be in the same park each day

Ah - thank you for the info - we don't use an agent - we do everything ourselves :) We may have to just suffer the full cost on the arrival night when we pick up and activate all our passes etc. We're also there for 3 weeks so I wonder if there will be something manual that a CM will do as we'll need more than 14 days. It's just the 2 of us so one card is no issue - but we do take a LOT of Photopass pictures on our trips :)
