I plan to pre-order the photopass to save 20%. What I'm wondering is can I take the photopass cd to Sam's club and print some pictures or will Sam's say no they are copyrighted or something? :confused3

I'm not sure how many pics 1 disk will hold. But the photopass cards will have 999 pics that can be linked to that one card. You can get more cards if you need to, just add them all to your account online. Disney will burn as many CDs as you need to get all your photos to you. I am fairly certain that is for the one price too, so you don't pay extra for more CD's.

I have 160 photos on mine and the CD looks to be 1/2 way filled.

A few things to remember too, you have 30 days to purchase your CD before they delete your pictures from the photopass website and before you order the CD add all the clipart and save a copy of the original, you can get 3 or 4 times as many pictures. So say a pic with Mickey you can have the original, the one with his signature, and one with 2007 on it. Add borders etc....

Oh and either take a picture of your photopass cards or write the numbers down somewhere safe that way you can still get your pics off the website if the cards get lost.

There's a thread on the theme park strategies forum about people having issues with Walmart in particular withholding photo service because of copyright. People even with the CD and the copyright release. Perhaps you should check them out.

I personally have used Snapfish for my photo developing and haven't experienced any problems with them. It seems to be a print in store/pickup issue.

Hope this helps. Sorry to scare you if you did. On the up side, there are so many people who have used Photopass without issue!

I am pretty assertive if it has a release on the CD then I don't think I will have a problem. What is snapfish??? I pay 15cent a print at Sam's but I'm always looking for a better deal.....

Snapfish is an online photo service. Shutterfly is another one. They frequently have specials on pics and other photo items. I buy the pre-paid, which is $25 fro 250 prints, which come up to 10 cents each. Sometimes you can also get free shipping. I also go through those website savers, like ebates or mypoints, so I earn extra with my spending.

I use Snapfish for two reasons. One, I"m able to upload my pics and keep them there forever, basically. Even if I'm at a different computer, I can sign in and access my pics. Also, I like their glossy/matte options, their no border/white border/black border options. I've been a very satisfied customer. Depending on the size of the order, I usually get my prints in a few days. I've also used them for photobooks and cards.

I don't have a local Sam's so I can't compare. I've used Walmart before, but I like the quality of Snapfish better. But of course its a personal preference.

You may want to try a single print from Snapfish to judge for yourself. I beleive Snapfish is having a 30% of your order promo at the moment.

Hope this helps you out a little bit.

They will use as many CD's as necessary.

There is a copyright release on the CD.

You can take the CD to any place with Digital Photo
Printing. I use CVS (I'm A SMGR in TX). I could do
all of it at home but I like to refer to my expert Photo
Lab people. They will work with you with all your
questions etc.

CVS also offers Digital Sundays @ stores to teach you about
Photo issues from using your Digital Camera to how
you can print and do all kind of cool things to your pictures.

As you see I depend on my experts, give yours a try?

I just wanted to add that in Sept, I had almost 200 pics on my photopass CD.. by the time I edited it and all, I had almost 400 pictures... that isnt including the pics I took with my camera of course...

Anyway, I work PT at Walgreens and when I got my photo pass CD, I just went in and downloaded the pictures I wanted... I also printed off a copy of my photopass release and presto... I uploaded my pictures of WDW, for our Christmas Cards... I showed the clerk at Walgreens and got my photos for my Christmas cards. Simple and Easy.

Walgreens has been offering some photo specials too. :)
