I read the Photopass thread, and saw some pictures. Some were dissapointed with the quality. Is it worth it? Should we also take our own pictures with our camera? Thanks.

I've found it worth it. I have some great pics of my family. However, I don't subsitute PhotoPass for taking my own pictures. Definitely take your own pics, and you can also ask PhotoPass photographers (and/or any other cast member) to use your camera to take pics of your party.

Our photopass photos came out great. We took pictures with our own camera too (We used the throw away cameras because we were afraid of losing our good one and having to lug it around on the trip). Some of the photos we took were dark or not so good, so it's nice to have the photopass photos available.

We got a photopass bracelet at blizzard beach and it came in soooo handy! My hubby wore it and would just have to slip it off and hand it to the photopass person. We took tons of pics with our own camera, but the photopass gave me exactly what I wanted which was one perfect pic of our whole family! We just got home yesterday and I had so much fun viewing them online last night. I found the one I liked best and added the 2007 to the the bottom of it...I'm ordering an 8 x 10 of it! I would never spend $125 for the cd, but it was far worth it to find that one gem! Also, I sent the link out so others could view them for 30 days!

I love photopass!!! i've bought the cd two years in a row, worth every dime. all the family members in one shot, priceless, plus excellent quality. one cd will hold up to 600 pics, you can edit and add borders, signatures online. i love it, highly recommend it!!

I just got the photopass from my March trip and printed some of the pictures. They are great. I took my own pictures, too, though.

So it is $125 for the CD.. (I tried to look up the prices on the Photopass site, but you had to register and I did not). If you get the CD, then can you also make the photo movies etc? Or is it all separate. Or, is this CD just for the pictures and you do what you want with them.

I really like the pictures with the 'tinkerbelle' superimposed on them. Can you just do it on the picture, or is it extra.

It is just DH and I so photopass was great. It was the only way we got pictures with both of us in them. We both still had our cameras also. We ordered the CD when we got home and it is great. No complaints about the pictures at all.

We definitely think it is worth it. They have added lots of new photopass photographers in some neat locations. We also got some wonderful night shots with all of us. Finally, I'm in vacation photos. The quality on most of the pictures has always been better than what I could have taken.

I am curious about the extras that you can add to your picture as well, especially Tinkerbell. Does anybody know is you can add her to your pics or is that something Disney does on their own as a suprise?

not sure about the photo movies, but I think they are extra. it is $125 for the CD and you can do the tink and other "effects" for free from what I understand. I am looking forward to ordering the CD after our summer trip!:)
