Photopass Superthread!

They just added the link on the DL AP page - it wasn't there yesterday, I looked.
And you're right it doesn't mention editing. Which doesn't matter to me but I understand it matters to others.

I am also curious - if I decide to upgrade to the AP on my 3rd day in the park...will I be able to add the pictures from my regular PP card from the first couple days? In my head I should be able to considering the AP renewal date will go back to the first day I entered the park with my regular 5-day ticket....

That is the one that was just eliminated . . . the Signature and Signature Plus took its place. But they are giving the PP+ downloads to them as well while people still have them.

Oh okay, so I was wrong, it isn't the WDW/DL one.
That is so cool that they are giving the PP+ to the people who already have the Premier AP, I'll have to tell my brother that. I am SO kicking myself for not pre-ordering the AP...even though that wasn't in the game plan (plan was to upgrade our discounted credit union tickets once we get there to save $30), that will teach me to try and save a few bucks.

I guess I will have to continue to buy the photopass+ after all. I love the borders and magic shots. And here I was thinking I was going to be saving money by not having to buy it anymore :(

I think magic shots are still included. The only thing that's not included is the ability to edit your photos and add borders and whatnots - which is not a problem for me I guess.

That is what I am debating too. I already have the PP+ so I am debating whether to return it or not. I love adding all the borders and such. I am wondering if they will end up adding that option for the AP's.

I'm pretty familiar with the character meals, was looking it up for the other person who you suggested it to. I believe the sometimes 5th at Goofy's is Minnie. Bummed, I made an ADR there "just in case" but I'm really thinking about cancelling it. DH & I agree we'd rather do Plaza Inn twice, way more (and better IMO) characters for way less $$
Yay for the plaza! We love the food, service and interaction at Storytellers enough we just couldn't quit it this year so that and the Plaza for us. It might be worth thinking about for you- food is good, characters are unusual (except Chip and Dale) and our service was great.

I just can't bring myself to take the kids to a character meal where they won't know the characters. Plus they see Chip & Dale at Plaza already.

Yeah- my DD watched brother bear 1 and 2 before our trip and loved them, but I'm pretty sure she liked Meeko more lol if she wasn't into the characters there (plus they were great with her as she's super shy) it would make a huge difference. The nice thing about the Plaza is you could get different characters each time.

I'm glad I saw this thread...dh & I currently have the Premium AP (DLR only, no blackouts), and are debating the Signature $849 or Deluxe. PP+ is why we're leaning toward one of us getting the Signature...but if we can't add borders? Ugh! I mean, it's better than not getting the photos, and certainly less time consuming...

I'm just glad it sounds like we'll be able to use the PP+ benefit with multiple PP cards (similar to how it works now) since we frequently split up with the kids at the park.

I have a question. : last night before I left the park I ran around the park adding ride photos we rode for the whole day. They found them all and showed me on their monitor when I was there. But now when I check the photopass website, I don't see those ride pictures. Should I worry? It was after 10 pm when I add them in the park and now is 5 am.
Should I do something before I left the resort this morning or do you think those pictures will show up on the account later? Those ride photos were from splash mountain and space mountain.

Can borders be added? (sounds like no so far...not a deal breaker for me...I really want it for the magic shots, ride photos, character meal photos, & bc I don't plan to lug around my DSLR camera on this trip).
I don't know how much things are going to evolve in the next few days/weeks/months as more AP holders start to use the PP option, but at this point, there is still no way to edit the photos or add the borders. I can see my photos on the AP Photopass website, but when I click on one of them, the only options are to download it or delete it.

If I click the link to the DisneyPhotoPass.com website, I am asked to log into a Photopass account. I can then add the PP Card number and view the same photos from within the DisneyPhotoPass website. At this point, I can then edit them, but there is no option for a free download (you can still purchase individual images or the CD, but you have to pay form them at this point).

Can you order the CD's of pictures, or is it download only?
I couldn't see any way to order a CD/DVD. My only option was to download the photos directly from the AP Photopass website (https://disneyland.disney.go.com/photopass/).

The fine print says that it can take up 24-hours for your photos to appear in your account. Usually they've showed up almost instantly, but I'd give them until this evening to show up. If they don't, you'll have to try to have them find them (I've had luck with this, so it does work!).

Figment, do you have to download the photos one at a time, or can you do a whole batch at once?

I know I won't have as many to download if I can't add a border, but we still get quite a few photos!

Can anyone who has had a photopass+ recently without ap version tell me what types of borders and add ons there are for the 60th anniversary? I'm still debating what to do with my photopass+. Between the 60th and the Christmas stuff, I may want to be able to edit and add the fun borders and dates etc. to my pictures. Are there generally a bunch of Christmas options during the holiday time pictures? Thx!

This is what we got over the summer for the 60th (I don't remember any other options, other than those associated with the 60th photo spots)

(obviously I know that all three examples are the same, but this way you can see how the border is for the same picture)

and these are the borders I added last Christmas

and one other I can't find on my photobucket right now :)

How fun, thank you!!! This is why I'm so hesitant to send my PP+ back . . .
