photopass ? sorry

I know this has been asked but the more I search the more confused I get. Can you buy the CD for $99 ONCE YOU ARE HOME? I thought I read in threads that people could no longer buy the cd only seperate photos once they left wdw. Could someone please clear this up for me, thank you.

it is my understanding that you can get the $99 cd once you get home online. thye used to do add on stuff like borders and signitures and if you wanted to do that then you couldnt do that online, you could still get the regular cd, but with no add ons. Now they just do the cd. you can get them at the parks or when you get home.

i think i got all that right. if anyone knows any different, feel free to correct me!

say we get the pictures taken, can we view them THAT day they are taken if i bring down a laptop? cuz if i like them, then i may want to do the whole photopass thing, but if i have the same pictures on my camera, i wont bother!

I don't think there is any way you can see your PhotoPass pictures on a laptop, but there are several places in WDW - Mickey's Toontown, Grand Floridian gift shop (upstairs) and the camera store in the front of Epcot - where a CM can help you view your photos.

If you click on "Contact Us" at the bottom and then on "Online Help" it will give you LOTS of info about the service.

I don't remember if it was that day but I know my husband could view our photopass pictures while we were still on vacation last year. He had to stay home and work.... This year he gets to go too!
