Photopass sizing

I'm editing my photopass pics right now and don't see an option for different sizing. However I remember reading here at some point that you want to size the photos a certain way. I'm doing the cd in the end. Do you choose the sizing when you order the cd or am I missing something?

Resizing was confusing to me too. Here's what you do - for each size you want to save a border-ed pic as, you must start with the original Photopass shot. Apply the border and then select the size from the dropdown menu at "order prints", then click save as at the bottom.

What I did wrong for the first few weeks I was trying was I would apply the border, save as, then try clicking a different size selection from there. Have to go back to the original shot and reapply the border.

Have fun!

I'm not sure of the mechanics of saving the pic for the photopass CD, but what you need to do is make sure that when you add a border to a pic that it is for the finial size you want the print it at.

A 4x6 inch pic is proportionally different from a 5x7 I think the 5x7 is a little skinner (comparing height to width) than a 4x6.

If you create the pic with the border at 4x6 and then take it to Walmart to print, the machine will crop the edges to make it fit the 5x7 size.

the difference between a 4x6 and a 5x7 isn't much, but the difference between a 4x6 and a 8x10 is significant.

Stupid question, you do this while editing to the cd or after when your ordering your prints?

Not to hijack the thread, but HELP, I'm completely confused. So, do I just need to worry about this when adding borders, or do I need to worry about it for printing any image? Do I need to save each picture on photopass in 4X6 as well as 5X7 to avoid cropping problems. If so, and also for the pictures with borders that I definitely need to do that way, do I do that by clicking "save as copy" when the order pictures box is set on "2 4X6 prints", or when it is set on "print download 4X6 format"?
