Photopass sharing question?

When you do a photopass share when do the photos expire? One photographer told me it was 30 days after the first picture is taken. Someone else told me that it was 30 days from when you sign in. Does anyone know for sure?

How does it work?
Getting started is easy! Our friendly, professionally trained photographers are all over the Parks and will provide you a Disney's PhotoPass card. Re-use the card every time you stop for photos. To view them, come back to DisneyPhotoPass.com within 30 days, log in (or register if you haven't done so already), and enter the number from your card. Then the fun really begins!

It also says that you can pre-buy the Pass so it isn't 30 days from when bought, but not sure if it is 30 days from input of photos or pictures taken. Anyone?

Actually, it's both!

After a pic is taken and associated with a PhotoPass card, you have 30 days to claim the pic by adding the PhotoPass card number to a valid acount on the PhotoPass web site. If you don't claim them, the pics expire and are deleted.

Once you claim a PhotoPass card, the clock resets and you have 30 days to buy products with the pics associated with that card. At the end of that 30 days, the pics associated with that card expire and are deleted.

Now, since you can add as many PhotoPass cards to your account as you want, not all of your pics will expire at the same time. FOr example - if I add a card with 20 pics to my account on Jan 1, those 20 pics will expire on Jan 30. If I add another card with 10 more pics to the account on Jan 15, those 10 pics will not expire until Feb 14.

As for pre-purchasing - that refers to the PhotoPass CD only. You can pre-purchase a PhotoPass CD before your trip, at a lower cost, before you even have any pics taken. After your trip, you add your card numbers to your account, make any modifications to your pics that you want, and finalize the order for the PhotoPass CD, and all the pics in your PhotoPass account at the time you finalize the order will be burned onto a CD and sent to you, at full resolution, along with a legal release alowing you to get the pics printed anywhere.
