I should have gotten the darn think in advance but I didn't. Does anyone know of a code I could use? Or will Disney send out a code possibly.

So to be clear you are looking for a discount to use after your trip to purchase items on the photopass website? Or are you just referring to the CD and looking for a discount post trip for it?

The website has promos for various items at different times on it. Click on Special Offers. My offers are 10% off the photo CD, save $4 on mugs & mouspads, $5 off calendars, ornaments & photocards buy 2 get 1.

Other than the occasional disney visa discount photopass discount codes don't really pop up online much.

If it's for the $99 pre purchase, I don't think it's available after the trip. I recall reading somewhere that the pictures on the photopass must be dated after the purchase of the CD.

I am getting ready to pre-order the photopass CD and I have a Disney Visa, are there sometimes extra discounts with the Disney Visa above the $50 savings by preordering the photopass CD?

No the discounted pre visit offer on the CD is not combinable w/ other discounts. The $99 is as cheap as it gets.

Thanks, I guess there is no reason to wait and I should just preorder the CD. Any tips on how to get the most out of the photopass experience while we are at WDW next month?

I have another question about the photopass, if it's ok to tag-along on the thread. Has anyone here pre-registered the photopass card that comes with your Disney packet and then pre-purchased the CD? Can you add other photopass cards after you return home? I have already registered the card because it said I would recieve special offers, but the only ones I have seen were already being offered on their website. Will be leaving on the 29th and plan to pre-purchase before leaving.

If you're buying it, take the time to get the pictures taken - it's easy to blow by PP opportunities early in your trip thinkng you can get the pictures later.

Also, search out and get a few of the magic shots where they put tinkerbell and other things into the pictures after the fact.

If you're going with multiple families, split the cost and merge your cards, then copy the cd to your harddrive and pass it around. You'll get everyone's pictures on it, but it's worth cutting your cost.

You can use a zillion different cards and merge them after the fact. We'd leave our prior day cards in our room and get a new one each day - this way if you lost it then it's not the end of the world. Others have advised taking a picture of the back to record your number if you lose it, which seems like a good idea as well

Yep, I pre-purchased the CD and then registered the card that came with my AAA packet. I then put the photopass card in one of the luggage tags that came with the packet...helped me keep track of it (it felt different in my pocket). We also used another photopass card when my husband and I separated to save a spot in a character line and he didn't have the original card with him. It's no problem, you just enter it when you get back.

Now, I have to tell you, I registered the first card about a month before the trip because I thought the "30 days" to view the photos didn't start until after the first photo was taken. When I got home and logged in, it said the card had expired or blah blah blah. I panicked, thinking my 30 days had started when I pre-registered the card. I used the contact email for photopass, explained the situation and the next time I logged on, I was able to access my photos! Whew! So, I'm not sure what the policy is, but regardless, I got the shots and the CD is being shipped as I type...

Thanks! I know I would have panicked. I know we will have several cards as we are going with another couple and her mom. No since in paying for two CDs when a lot of the pics will be of the whole group anyway.

It also helps to tell the photographer that you have already prepaid and would like them to take extra photos; they have a tendency to take more photos (candid) when they know you have already bought them. We've gotten some great character interaction photos this way.

I would always suggest the pre-purchase. If you are not happy with the pics or the number of pics, you can request a refund and they are more than happy to refund your money.:thumbsup2
