OK stupid question time - is there a certificate for photopass or is there a charge to get the card? I was going over some WDW paper work and I cannot find out if I need a certificate or something to get the card. Any help would be appreciated! TIA

The whole photo pass thing is free... well, you do have to purchase the pictures.. you'll see CM's in the park taking photos and they will hand you a photopass card.. looks like a creditcard. These dont' cost anything though.

And one more thing that a lot of people don't think about...getting your picture taken is FREE, so don't be shy! Don't wait for a photographer to come up to you--go up to a photographer and ask if they can take your picture next. I imagine they must be paid at least partially on commission, so they're happy to be approached.

Another thing that is great is that you can wait until you get home to look at the pictures! Just collect all your photopass cards (we had 4), and log on to view and order!! You don't have to do it in the parks!! Very convienent!

are the prices for the photos the same at the park and when ordering online from home?

Yes...actually, sometimes even less if you can find a code or they run a special. I was very happy with Photo Pass. I wish I had them take more photos for us. Enjoy!!

Just to clarify...you have to pay for the pictures that you decide to purchase, but you do not have to pay to have them take the pictures. The card and the snapping of photos are free. There's no obligation to buy.
