Hi

I've just pre-ordered my photopass CD for our trip in August and wondered what happens now? Do I just note my card number when we get given it by the first photographer we pose for and then enter it onto the website when I get home along with any other numbers we get?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do I connect my pre-order with the photos that get taken??? :confused3

I think you should have got an email with instructions on it? You will need that email as it has a code in it.

Basicly, once you get home, log into your photopass account, add your card numbers to it, then go to buy the photo CD. when you come to pay for the CD you enter the code from the email which discounts off the cost.

Hi

That's just what we did a couple of years ago. If part of the group did not have a card with them they just got a fresh one from the photographer. The waterparks dished out special mini wristband cards too. Back home we punched the different numbers to create a CD with all the photos. Worth noting the number down when you get first get each card in case it goes walkabout.

Cheers

You will get given various cards throughout your trip - normal ones in the street, at character meets, the water parks - you can either use the same one for the whole holiday, or you can get one each so every member of the family has one. They will continue to add your photos to the card throughout the holiday. It is important not to lose the card, otherwise you will not have access to your photos. To avoid this, we do two things - activate our cards while away (because we have internet access), and take a photo of the back of the card. That way, if we loose it, we can still input the code.

To activate the cards, you go to the Disney Photopass site, and enter the 16 digit long code on the back of each card. You can add as many cards as you like to your account. You can either activate while you are away, or when you get home. The photos will remain on the site for 30days after each card is activated, so bare that in mind if you are staying away for a long time and going to activate while away.

Then, when you get home, you can edit the photos, add the banners and extra Disney goodies. When you are happy with your collection, you simply go to the shopping cart and "purchase your CD". At that point, there will be a box in which you can type the code that was sent in the pre-purchase email, and then the cost will be calculated as $0.00. Then you just fill out the delivery details and it will be on its way in a matter of days!

we did this last year and on our last day we went to the photopass shop in magic kingdom and transferred all the photos from all the cards to one card which made it easier once we got back to do the cd
