Photopass Q, regarding uploading own photos

I have edited all my photopass photos (took hours and hours - but that is beside the point).

Now I wanted to add some that I took so that I could add borders etc, particularly Rupunzel meet and greet as there wasn't a photopass photographer there. But when I uploaded my photos it looks like I can only get a print - not a digital copy and the boarders are just plain Disneyland borders.

Does this seem correct, am I missing something, or

Unfortunately, you can only edit photos taken by Disney. The only reason to upload your own photos is to ensure that your personal are saved onto the same CD as your PhotoPass photos. I wasted a few hours learning this the hard way. :-(

Yep, it's been like that since...well as far as I know, forever. From the Help section about the photoCD: "The PhotoCD will not include any of your personal uploaded photos or any of the Disney Photo Gallery photos."
