Photopass plus delivery

I think I may have mis-read the photopass website and assumed that when you pre-order, the voucher for the photopass card is delivered electronically.

Having re-read the website and received a shipping confirmation email today I now understand the voucher is sent through the post and can take between 7-10 days (working days?). Unfortunately as we leave on Thursday evening we'll probably miss it by a day or 2.

Anything I can do?
 
Your best bet is to contact them. They actually have a condition on there that you have to order at least 2 weeks before your departure and I suspect it is for this reason. Use the photopass helpline number on their website. They open from 9 am to 1 pm EST so you have until 6 pm to speak to them today :)
 
Lee is right, before ordering you have to explicitely declare that your departure is more than 14 days away.

I would contact them, be it only to make sure the photopass+ has been shipped, and pray for the best.

Disney might help, but they might tell you to purchase a new one at WDW at the full price, and to return the one you'll receive (if you receive it too late) for a refund

In any event, be advised that there is a CD inside a DVD box that comes with the voucher. Inside the DVD box is the coupon (discount code) to get the photoCD (the voucher is taped on top of the box)
there is a seal on that DVD box, if that seal is broken, the photopass+ becomes non refundable.
So if you don't receive your package on time, and have to purchase a new one, for whatever reason disney photopass gives you, and if you have to return that package for a refund when you're back DON'T break that seal on the DVD box.
 
I actually think you'll be ok OP. I personally know two families who have ordered theirs in good time and the CD arrived with the check out code for when they got back, but the collection voucher wasn't attached. They were able to arrange to collect the voucher from their resort. Is it next Thursday you leave, or tomorrow? If it's next week, you may still be ok as mine arrived really quickly last year :)
 

Ours came 11 days from order last week so hopefully you receive it in time :thumbsup2

It's next Thursday evening we leave, so we do I agree have chance it will arrive in time.

I made the order on Monday this week and received the dispatched email at 2am this morning.

Thanks, I'll phone them this evening.

I didn't think too much about what the 2 week criteria was for. We don't get to Disney until the beginning of August. Prior to this we're travelling around California.
 
Just spoke to customer services. Very helpful as usual.

A note has been added to my account so I can pick up the photo plus card when we arrive.
