I'm leaving in 2 days for my first trip. I preordered the PhotoPass CD and my goal is to get at least 100 orginal shots, so I can say I paid $1 a picture. Then I hope to edit them to 200 or more and pay 50 cents a picture when I'm done.

This got me thinking, what are the PhotoPass picture records for you veterans? What's the most number of orginal shots you guys have gotten? What's the most pictures you've put on a CD after editing? Anyone pay a penny a picture?

Just curious.

I have seen almost 500 photos - it took 2 cds. Make sure when you do your edits that you are also choosing the size you want. If you plan on printing a 5x7, then edit in that size. Otherwise, your photo will be in the standard size and may not be the proper resolution.

Have fun, and I hope you get some great pix.

We did up to 150 original shots and 300 total edited. That was with a 2 weeks stay and not trying to hard.

I love my PP . I really want to do the book this year as well. Its the best way to get everyone in a shot and I love the add ons they do.

I had something like 600 after all the editing. Granted close to 100 of them were of 3 girls in our group at the BBB. I go with pre-paid prints from Shutterfly, something like 10 cents each for 4x6's . What I loved the best was being able to make my own holiday cards with the photopass pics and an enlarged family picture as a thank you gift for my in-laws. I also made my own Shutterfly picture book that my DD2 looks at all the time. Good luck!

How do you get so many pictures? Are they 600 different pictures or if they take a 100 pictures you can add multiple borders to one picture?? I'm confused :confused3

actually, editing the image pops it into 5x7 by default while the original images are 4x6

The BBB took so many pictures of each of the 3 girls and then did all posed pics of them together. I did not edit any of them and there were around 100. I zoomed in on many of the remaining pictures to have a variety for the book and cards etc. I also did a couple of borders on a good number of them. It did not take much effort to get several hundred pictures taken of our group and then with the editing, that's where all the rest came from. My 5 year old niece is coming with us this year and has already asked me to make her a book of her own for Christmas. I may not bother printing so many of them when all anyone wants to see is a memory book.

We stopped and got about 9 different photopass shoots for a total of 41 shots. Of those about 20 were actually print worthy, but I edited them in to much more than that 372 as I cut out the non-smiling one a few times (borders are a wonderful thing:rotfl:) with the various borders. We also got our Test Track photos added to our photopass and our Chef Mickey's Photos.

I loved the photopass cd. I'm not really sure how many photos I got taken but it was well over 150, I would say closer to 200 then I did a lot of edits. It was great:thumbsup2 I love the fact that all 4 of us are in the pictures and we didn't have to stop strangers and bother them to take our picture:thumbsup2. I am thinking about doing one of the books after this years trip, not sure if it's worth it or not since I'm trying my hand at scrapbooking (I'm not very good at it:confused3 but I'm trying).
I hope you are as happy with your photos as we were with ours.

Oh, just a little side note. The photog at the character spot in Epcot was great. By the time we got to actually meet the characters DS2 was out like a light on DH's shoulder. He took the most adorable pictures of him sleeping, what a great memory for us of his first trip to WDW:love:

We had about 140 pics (original), and after editing, got it to 1100.

I know it seems excessive, but we took every photo and put at least 3 or 4 borders each, if we really liked it we would put 8-10 on it, so we have variety to choose when printing.

Also another tip, I found that if you have a nice family shot, sometimes, you can crop out some other people or characters and turn it into 3 nice shots - all different, and then put borders on each.

I had 464 last August with just my DD2 and I. We did the Photopass Resort Sitting (it was free last year when I bought the CD). I also told every photographer that I was getting the CD, so please snap away. I would search the photographers out. When she was playing in the water fountains at Epcot, I saw a photographer standing to take pictures of people in front of the ball, and asked him to come over and take pictures of DD. They did that a couple times for me. I had a blast doing it!!

the most on one trip was 512 before edits however when we want to Disneyland we were only there 2 days and had 119 photos taken so that was the most per day we always do the kids alone then the family then something goofy... unless there is a line then we just do a group
