My phone seems to be doing something weird, so I'm not sure if it posted..

Does anyone know if the photopass photographers will take pictures with your camera? We have a camera that takes pretty good pictures but we want both of us in some of the photos..

Thanks in advance!

In my limited experience, they always take one shot with your camera if you ask, and then generally at least two shots with theirs. (They have sometimes taken multiple shots with my camera without me asking, but I would only count on one.)

Yes. They will take photos of you with your camera. Also, feel free to let them take pictures of you as well with THEIR camera so you dont feel awkward. You dont have to ever buy any of them, but it can be a nice backup in case something happens to your photos.

The price of some digital prints is tiny compared to a lost camera and having no pictures at all.

Personally, I like any opportunity to interact with extra cast members in the parks.

When we went in 2012 and didn't have a Photopass we got heaps of photos from the Photopass cast members, a couple of them liked using my Canon more than their Nikon.

Perfect! That's just what I wanted to hear. I was almost afraid of it being awkward asking them to take photos with our camera, but it sounds like it would be no big deal to them. Thanks everyone!

I've even had CM take our picture with my camera. They have always been more than happy too.

To make it less awkward just get a non pre-paid Photopass card from them, then you just hand them the Photopass card and camera at the same time. Then they take a few pics with your camera and a few pics with theirs. Then purchase a few pics from the Photopass card for their time.

Personally though, I would do that but spring the $69 for the Photopass+ card since you can have ride pics added to it, especially seeing you have 3 kids. Then use the heck out of the CM photographers. That way you get the best of both worlds.

Yep, we just got back from 6 days in the park and I handed the PP photographers my camera (turned on, ready to shoot) and my PP+ card at the same time. For character meets, my daughter really wanted pictures on her iPhone and I was busy taking pictures with my camera, so she handed her phone to the PP photographers (turned on, ready to shoot).
