Photopass+ on a high crowd trip?

Last time we took a trip to Disney we got photopass+ heading in, and it was great. We ended up with a lot of fun photos. But we also noticed that even at a typically 'low' crowd time, we sometimes had a hard time finding a photographer or getting through the photo line quickly.

Our next trip is going to be at a peak crowd time - right before Christmas.

Would photopass+ still be worthwhile? I'm a little concerned that it's value will decrease with the large rise in crowds.

Thanks for any help!

I don't see the value in it unless you plan on doing character dining and like to get all the ride photos. I also think it's more difficult to snag a photog when it's crowded. You can also just hand your own camera to any photopass photographer and they'll take pictures with it.

I think this is something that will vary by person and by group. I was there last year at the start of the holiday season (the week after the Avenger's Marathon), so the crowds were not high. That being said, I felt like there were a fair amount of PP+ photographers available (mostly on MS in DL and scattered throughout DCA). We also had a lot of fun searching for different Magic Shots. I would say that if you're doing a character meal with a photo package, like ride photos, or wanted to get Magic Shots, then PP+ is worth it. If you're really only interested in getting group photos at iconic locations, you can just ask the PP photographer to use your camera and take a photo.
