Photopass/Memory Maker Question

Here now…family went on Frozen Ever After Twice, Tower of Terror once, and Pirates of the Caribbean twice and no photos of these ended up in our Photopass/Memory Maker account. Traveling with a group of 10 and we all have Magic Bands/Bluetooth on phones.

For those who went recently, did you get photos for these rides?
 
We were there in August, and did get them for Pirates. Didn't go on the other two, but know we have on TofT before.

Just looking thru our photos, and others in our group did go on FEA and ToT, and we have the photo pass photos!

We found in March and June that photos didn’t always link properly. Not only were some missing but we were also offered photos that weren’t ours. You can call PhotoPass or send them a Missing Photos email via the link on the website. FYI the more accurately you can tell them when you rode (within what hour, not to the minute), what your party was wearing, etc., the easier and faster they’ll find your photos.
 

So there is a possibility someone else on those rides was not wearing a mask. They will not give anyone on that ride a photo. I would go and ask. We had gotten a bunch of random photos on test track and I went to the camera location at the front of EPCOT and the people ahead of me were looking for two photos. Found one, then they found h to e other one and the CM said “it’s been marked because this person wasn’t wearing a mask. No one gets it. I’m sorry.”
It really sucks, and idk if it’s a system thing (really those people shouldn’t be able to get it not everyone else) but that is a huge possibility.
 
Thanks everyone. That kind of stinks. I’m not anti-mask (and NOT looking to start a debate), but we should still be able to have our photos, especially if we were compliant (and who knows - we have 6 kids in our group, anything is possible).
 
This seems like the better option for people who complied with mask mandates and paid for photopass.
They tried( or considered) that and received criticism that they were trying to make it look like mask compliance was better than it really was.
 
Our photos from POC, HM and Splash all on the same day and within a couple of hours time are missing. We have Buzz photo. I sent an email with the date/time and have heard nothing since it was sent a couple of weeks ago. Maskless riders can't be blamed for HM and I did tap for Splash and I don't recall anyone being unmasked, but who knows for certain.

Could you be using older Magicbands that aren't registering on the ride sensors for photos?
 
I have had to request 5 ride photos this past trip. HM and pirates twice each. All have had masks on, brand new magic band. Last trip in April maskless riders stopped a splash photo from getting to me but after asking they showed up, with superimposed masks on those individuals.
I have an AP and the fact they are now going to be taking free photopass away from us, making us pay more, and have it not even work properly is complete frustrating!!!! I really think I’m done with AP. Been a good 4 years and it’s no longer worth it. Thanks Cheap Chapek.
 
Would really like to know if they are still penalizing those who wore a mask on same ride with those who didn't. About to decide on whether to pay per day for Photopass or break down and do advance purchase for Memory Maker. Have always bought MM in past but this is a short trip so don't want to over spend just to have most of photos Cancelled on us due to someone else's choice / forgetfulness etc.

Have also had to call upon arrival home to have them track down a group photo. It can be done but always a hassle to remember what people were wearing ( unless you were able to check other photos from same day on personal device ).

Which brings us to main reason for purchasing -MM was for the group photos ( and rides which may or may not be cancelled. )

Masking rules continue to be in effect--nothing has changed with regard to the photopass rules.

Also, I never did receive the photos I was seeking and mentioned above. :sad1:
