Photopass/Memory Maker Question

How exactly does it work? I'm trying to figure out how much it's going to cost but don't know if it's just the Memory Maker you pay for or what. TIA!

You are able to prepurchase the Memory Maker (MM) at $149 prior to your trip. You may also buy it while at WDW for a bit more. Purchasing MM gives you the rights to all the Photopass pics you have taken at WDW. You are able to go onto the Photopass website and edit, add borders, stickers, frames, etc to your pics, and then download them and print as you wish. You also receive the ride pics for those that offer them, plus any Bibbity Bobbity Boutique (maybe Pirates League as well?), and restaraunt pics taken by Photopass photographers. There are usually free bonus pics of the characters and the parks available when you look at your pics on the Photopass website. If you do not purchase the package, you will have to buy each picture separately. The last I looked it was over 15 per pic, so it adds up quickly.

I booked our tip this past December, and when I called, they told me that it takes 3 days to link the Memory Maker to your reservation. So if you don't get it before your trip, you won't have any photos from your first 3 days. Well you will, but you will have to purchase them extra, outside the cost of the MM.

So if you can, book it ahead of time

Yes you need to book at least 3 days in advance. The package includes all the photos you get with the characters and around the parks, plus meal photos and ride photos. If you have magic bands you will also get ride videos.
