Photopass last year pictures

Hope someone can help me, as we just returned from our second holiday to WDW. And, again, we pre ordered the Photopass CD. We went last year and I already recieved the photopass CD from last year.

Today, while I went to enter our new photopass cards numbers, I see that all the photos from last year are there. I thought they would be long gone since it's been a year. And, I'm getting emails now which tell me my photopass photos will expire 08.03.11.

Now, my problem is that I do not want to upload my new photos and have them lost. Has this happen to anyone else? Is this normal for the old photos to still be there?
