Photopass CP

Hi there. Did anyone get Photopass for their College Program? Any tips for the interview? I am currently a paid photographer and I am dying to do Photopass for my second CP.

If you have experience, that's a big thing they look at. Be sure to somehow bring it up in the interview, even if it means at the end they say "Do you have any questions for me?" you mention it.

I didn't do Photopass, but my friend did. She loved it, especially when she did the photography with the characters. You get to bounce around a lot in terms of areas, which is nice (in my opinion, because I get bored of the exact same thing over and over) In the interview, tell them it's your top choice, and then play up the experience thing and I think you'll have a pretty darn good shot at it!

I do kids and pets professionally with The Picture People.

Then I have my own business doing parties and pet portraits in the home. lol

Hopefully that's enough. Also, I am a campus rep and I am hoping my recruiter will help me out with the interview! lol

Is there any chance to get hired into photo pass without "real" experience?
I love to take pictures of my friends and backstage at shows I've worked on and of course at Disney.
But I don't have any real studio or specific experience/training.

Photo pass is in my top 3.
I love the idea of having different work locations!

it is definitely possible, because they train you on all the equipment and how you need to take the pictures(you dont get to get super creative from what i have been told)
I had a friend that I worked with in main street ops who got extended into photopass. her only experience was the same as what you said, just taking pictures of friends!

It's definitely possible-- I did it! However, I extended and put photopass as my number one choice and just happened to do it. There was no interview for the extension, juts the luck of the draw! So maybe if you don't get it and you happen to extend, you can get into it then!
