PhotoPass Character Signatures?

I thought you could put character signatures on your PhotoPass pics, but can't find any clip art or borders with the signatures in them.

The help link says that only PhotoPass pics can have signatures put on them, but those are the pics I'm using and still can't find any.

Had noticed that the border choices change with the park, but selecting the character photo didn't make any extra borders show up.

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Gigi

When I ordered ours online last Oct. I think the signatures showed up pnly when you "highlghted" a specific single picture. Hope that helps!

It all depends on how the photographer coded the picture when they took it. If they left it at the generic park setting, then the signature wouldn't show up. If they coded it, for example, Mickey - then Mickey signature would show up.

Thank you for the info! The character PhotoPass pics we had taken at MK & the water parks didn't have the signatures available, so I gave up and came over to ask. But after your posts I went back and checked all the ones from AK and the sigs popped up when I clicked on the pic. So, I guess the first ones were only coded for the park and not the characters.

My daughter got autographs from all the characters she had photos with, but I thought it would be nice to have them on the photos as well. I think I'll just leave them off all of them, so they'll be consistent.

Thank you for the help!

I guess they do that so you can't put Dopey's sig on Mickey or whatever. Only Dopey & Snow White sigs will come up on a pic of the two of them.

That makes sense. I was kind of surprised they even had the signatures out there at all for the public to use. If you look at the CM's photo editing software, they have piles of clip art, borders, and whatnot on their computers. I was really disappointed at the very few borders available and no clip art, but was looking forward to uploading the pics we took where there wasn't a PhotoPass photog there - Pocahantas, Rafiki, and Mr. (Gov?) Ratcliffe. But the help menu says that only official photos can have the sigs added.

Not a big problem. We're going to scrapbook the trip and wanted them to be extra special. I'm hoping that Disney has some photo editing / creative software available, but haven't looked yet.

If anyone knows of some software that they enjoy using with a lot of nice features, I love to hear about it. I should probably post that on the Creative Board, too.

I'm sorry I can't tell you which one, but only one photo editing or scrapbooking program as the licensing for Disney and I've heard they have a lot of stuff. I have just gotten a TON of digiscrap stuff, almost all free and most off of the boards here.
