PhotoPass Changes

We went to WDW for the Thanksgiving Holidays. We took many PhotoPass pictures and viewed them online after returning. I played around with the different borders etc. Now they seem to have changed the website and border selections. For example, the Test Track pictures doesn't allow you to place the Test Track border any longer but did before. I noticed quite a few other borders that aren't there anymore, even a Christmas one at MK (which I liked a lot). They do still have the signatures for characters - but other than that......it's pretty much the same choices for all the parks. They use to have separate choices for each park.

I have my photo pass from my recent trip. how does it work? can i just go to a website and punch in a number and view my photos?

Yeah......just go to Disneyphotopass.com and if you are registered with Disney.com all you have to do is log in and enter your number from the card and view your photos. If you aren't registerd - it's easy to do so. Also, if you have more than one PhotoPass card - you can combine them all together.

are they still just doing the cd with no extras for 99?

Yeah.....the photo cd is $99.95 but doesn't include any of the edits.

they also have a dvd you can get with your pic's and it is very nice

When I went there yesterday it said the dvd option is not available till the beginning of Jan 07. I really want to do this with my pics I took last week. Are the photopass pics good for 30 days after your trip or after you view them on line.
I sent them off an email asking exactly when in Jan hoping to still get it.

When we went in October, the photopass CM said there were rumors of Disney selling a program with the edits so you could do it yourself at home. Until then no edits on the CD, they were pretty cool.

I had the same situation - went right before Thanksgiving, had a fun Osborne Lights border and now it's gone. I really liked it too.

I was disappointed when I looked at the one pic I had taken of DD at MVMCP with Belle & Beast when I realized they did not have a MVMCP border - they did for MNSSHP. I have photos that I took, but was going to buy the discounted photo with their border. Now I'm not going to buy the photo since it's just like the one I took!

Well, I went ahead and ordered one picture with a regular Christmas border - since they no longer had the one I really wanted. I received it today and I am very dissapointed in the quality of the photo. It is so dark! Nothing at all like what it shows on the website. There is no way anyone reviewed it prior to shipping. It must all be computerized with no human interaction. If not, you would think they would see how dark it is and re-do it.
