Photopass CD Questions

Love the idea of the photopass CD. Two questions. If we forget our original card back in the room, can we later add another card to the same CD? Or do they all need to be on one card. Also, we are travelling with two other families. Can we pool all of our pictures onto one CD and split the cost? Will we later be able to copy the pictures to another CD? Thanks in advance for your advice! :grouphug:

I bought the photopass CD on friday Jan. 20th. I only used one card, but I saw other people previewing multiple cards at once, so it looked like they would put them all on the CDs together. I had 168 photos on mine, so I felt it was a great investment- and since I am usually the family photographer, I was even in the pictures! The only thing I would question about sharing is how many pictures can be burned on one CD.

How long were you there in order to get 168 photos? Did you have to search out the photographer?
Thanks

We were there for a week. The photographers are at the park entrances and at spots within the parks as well. We had a lot taken with characters, so we just handed the card to the photographer and had our photos taken. Some are very similar- trying to get the 2 year old to smile- but I was happy to get so many!

I was just on the parks board asking what is the photo pass? Can someone give me a brief explanation. Is it expensive? How do you sign up? How does it work?

Thanks!

We bought one on Jan 20th too. We had four different photopass cards and they put them all on one disk for us. I took the time and added all of the extra things that they can put on our photos like the borders, signatures and overlays. That took sometime but it wasn't very busy when I went. The disks are $99 and
we had them taken at the entrances to the park, at major focal points in the parks and with characters. We really didn't get that many (about 70) I really wanted more but we still got some wonderful photos. You can only buy the disks at Epcot and the Grand Floridian so plan accordingly. We went over to GF and no one was there.

This is our very first trip so I'm trying to get a handle on things. Does everyone in your group get a photopass or can we all just use one so everyone's pics get on the same card? Also would you just go on your last day to get the CD and that way it has all your photo's on it? Also how long does it take to get it?

Thanks

You can use just one photopass. We ended up with 4 because we either didn't have ours out or we had left it in the stroller. We got our disk on the last day but in the afternoon. You definately don't want towait till the close of the park (Epcot) to get your disk. If you want to add borders and overlays it can take some time to get it all done. It took me about 20 to 30 minutes. But if you just want it the way it is, it only takes about 5 minutes.

Thanks for the info. $99 is a little steep for our budget. Thanks again.
Actually it is free to have your photo taken. With the photopass you can view your photos on line at home and share them with friends and family-all for free-for about a month. You can purchase prints online (or at the parks). It is $12.95 for a 5 X 7 when you order it on line so it doesn't take long to get up to $99 and the pictures on the CD are yours to do anything with-make cards, calendars, prints of other sizes (4 x 6).

You may want to try it just for the free online service.
