Anyone recently had their photopass cd delivered? I was wondering how long it should take from the date that they show on your account that it has been shipped. Things used to get here quite quickly, most of the time in under a week. It's pushing 10 days now so I wondered what the current 'postal situation' is like ;)

Of course the fact that I want the pics to make a photobook as a gift - which needs to be done before the end of the weekend - has nothing to do with my impatience :lmao:

I'm waiting for mine aswell but I only ordered last week.

I'm doing DD a photobook but her birthday is mid jan - aiming to give it as a birthday not xmas pressie - I think is more realistic for me.

Mine took 11 days I think. I have since ordered photo calendars from them and they say they were shipped on the 12th nov and they haven't arrived yet

Mine took just over a week, with the calender arriving about two weeks after I ordered!

9-10 days for me a couple of months ago. Could be extra security checks or Xmas post starting? hopefully arrive soon.

I didn't think of that. Thanks everyone.

To be fair, I am being impatient now because I know how long I take to put a photobook together MY way :rotfl: (i.e. remove all auto settings.... :rolleyes1)

Also, in the back of my mind is that I have already had to have them send me a Photo Gallery CD as the one I purchased there turned out to be a sealed, empty case when I got back. I think if I had to report lost CDs they might think I am taking the ::MickeyMo

I will be sure to let you all know when it arrives though (tomorrow would be nice ;)) - especially since you have all made me feel much better. :goodvibes

Well my mail arrived this morning and still no sign of the CD's. Even the postman has been keeping an eye out and knows where to put it throught a little window if it won't fit through the letterbox. I phone Photopass on Saturday and they said if I haven't recieved it by today I will need to ring them and get another one sent. The guys said it shouldn't take 2 1/2 weeks and usually if it hasn't turned up in the UK by this stage, it's "gone".

Of course I am absolutely thrilled about it because waiting another 10 days from tomorrow for a CD to arrive means there is no way I can order photo gifts, get them delivered and still mail them out (especially the international ones) before Christmas.

So right now I am very cheerfully saying: "Fine. I'm not sending any *#@%$ Christmas cards from me this year!" :lmao:

Aw what a shame, my calendars arrived on saturday so took 15 days to get here.

Hopefully it will turn up for you

Glad you got your calendars. Do they look great? :)

I was getting a bit edgy about the time frame by the end of last week. My family and I regularly order CD's and similar items from the US and it takes on average anything from 3-7 days. Worst delay is about 10, so 18 days for a CD is questionable. I know the slightly bulkier items can and often do take a little longer though so photogifts I would have expected around 2 weeks.

I am also reluctant to phone and get them to re-send it if it does turn up later. I would feel awful. Oh well, I am just going to have to do that if I want a chance at sending some prints to the family. There is always 1 hour photo at Tesco for those.

The calendars are great, slightly more expensive than some of the ones you can get here but with all the extra details that they have on them they are worth it.

Don't worry about phoning and getting a replacement, I'm sure it happens to Disney all the time and it really isn't that hard for them to do another copy for you

I have not had any post for four days now, royal mail are not collecting from my office (large office development with over 2000 staff) due to the weeather conditions.

I also ordered a new swimming costume to take to WDW this weekend next day delivery last Wednesday and still has not turned up :scared1:

Iam sure it will turn up eventually :thumbsup2

Thanks. :goodvibes We've been getting mail with no problems. I ordered photo things form Jessops and Photobox, including some posters, and those have all arrived in a day or two over the last few weeks. You're right, it will eventually turn up. It's just a case of it turning up too late to do what I wanted with it. I especially ordered it over a week before the expiry date so that I WOULD have it without all the pressure.

I ordered a mousemat & album from Photopass back in the summer for Fathers Day - and that went missing in the post.

I emailed and they replaced it straight away and my photos even reappeared in my account for another 30 days :thumbsup2

You can't fault Disney on their service. :thumbsup2 They told me the same and I see that an email came in telling me that my Photopass photos will expire next month (they weren't there yesterday, as they had expired the day before). Oh well. One of those things.

Hi,
I have just looked and seen that my photopass was sent out on the 10th November, that is now 20 days , although we have not had mail delivered since Friday due to the snow.

I was also hoping to be able to get this in time for Christmas, I have now sent an e-mail so hopefully will hear soon.

2Tiggies hope yours arrives soon.

Just seen a warning from ebay dated 26/11 that US packages may take longer to arrive due to stricter US screening as a result of that explosive device found on a US bound plane.

May explain the delay. Mine hasn't come yet either.

I'll just wait too. I am not in full blown rant mode anymore. :lmao: Just one of those things so I had to resign myself to the fact that it may not give me time to do photobooks and things like that for Christmas presents. It certainly isn't Disney's fault - it's a postal thing. I didn't ask them to send another one yet, but they have extended my viewing window on my account for me. :goodvibes

Good news. It's here! It went to the wrong house and the guy came down with it. A box with 5 CDs :yay:

Now, quick question re. the copyright release. Has anyone ever been asked for it here? I am ready to check out with my prints online, but the online service does not recognise the Copyright Release image and won't let me load or attach it. How do you do this and is it necessary at all?
