Just back yesterday from our trip and we bought the photopass CD. The photopass CDs MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE YOU LEAVE! You can purchase pictures online later, but if you want the CD, you have to buy it while you are there. As of Friday, they could be purchased at Epcot's Camera Center or at the Grand Floridian (I'm not sure where in the GF).
The photopass works like this: When you walk into a park there are photographers ready to take your picture. The first time, they will give you a card- that is your photopass. Every time you have a Disney photographer take your picture, you give them the pass and they scan it. There are photographers throughout all the parks and with the characters. You can view your photos later in the day and they are always trying to get you to purchase them individually. This is really expensive and so I opted to get as many photos on my card as possible and buy the CD. I had 168 photos and they are all really cute! Now I can print them when I am ready to and can view them at home. If you have lots of pictures on the photopass and if you really like to have the photo options, I recommend purchasing the CD.
My DS2 did not wear his Mickey costume just because he refused- it was pretty warm on the days we tried, but my DD4 wore her Belle, Minnie, Aurora and Snow White dresses. I think you might as well try and see if they will wear them especially on the days you plan to see those characters.
They do sell costumes in the park and I am pretty sure that I saw the Incredibles. But you may want to try to buy them online because at least the princess dresses cost almost double what they did at Halloween in the
Disney Store. They were fancier, but I didn't see that great of a difference. Good luck!
