photopass and camera pictures

Just got back from disney and we preordered our photopass and we entered our cards and we have 560 pictures without even adding anything to it. That doesn't even count what we took with our cameras. I can't even imagine how many pages it will take me to finish this trip. My MIL has 1400 pictures on her camera alone. I better start signing up for some swaps.

I know your pain! We have 3600 photos from our cameras last trip.. and 400 plus on the photo pass...

DH just chokes every time I order photos.. I keep reminding him, "at least w/ digital I can get the GREAT ones, re-size and order more than 1 on a 4x6 or 5x7.... so we are actually saving money!"

We usually average about 1800 plus photopass but wow, 3000-have fun scrapping!

LOL that's the problem with digi cameras - so easy to take thousands of photos

I usually use Adobe Bridge or iPhoto to sort through the photos and mark the ones I really like before I start scrapping so that I can bring the numbers down.

I took over 3000 photos alone and my Photopass pictures were in the 2000 range once I added all the borders. I just got an email from Walgreens for $.10 prints, through September 12th, CATCH (for orders 50 and more).

For a 10 day trip we average 5000- 7000 photos not including photopass, that's usually 900 more with edits.

Sorry we didn't get to meet up this trip! Maybe next time I can plan better! LOL

I hope you had fun. We hit the ground running. It is hard to plan to meet up with people. I actually did meet up with one of my friends did one ride and then we were on our way again. I understand how hard it is. we need to plan a scrap weekend with a bunch of us. we really aren't that far.

WOW!! That'a a lot of Photopass pictures. We only got about 40 last year and I thought we got a lot. Do they have more photographers out now? We are going again in Dec. and I will do the CD preorder so I want to get as many pics as we can to make it worth the money.

Bearbear, did you know about the SDV in Long Branch at the end of Feb/early March? I'm going to the one the end of this month and really hoping to go to one of the winter ones. Long Branch is probably about an hour from you. (I used to live in Maple Shade)

I am actually going to a weekend crop in Ocean City NJ at the end of january with a bunch of my friends. They are expanding out to a max of 100 scrappers. We had a great time last year. I have been going with these girls for about 7 years now. We are staying at the Flannders right on the boardwalk. If we have room I will post on here. It would be great to get some of you guys to come. It is a fun group of people.
Colleen, when did you live in Maple shade? I have been here for about 15 years and grew up in Pennsauken.

Bearbear, I lived in Maple Shade from 1997 to 2000 after college and when DH and I first got married. We were in Fox Meadow when we first got married and I can't remember the name of the apts I lived in when I first finished grad school. Then we moved back to the shore to be closer to our families.
