Anyone have any good ones for noobs w/DSLRs?

I read a book called "understanding digital photography". I can't remember the author. also understanding exposure. and then (in no particular order) understanding composition.

What is your current photography understanding? I mean how new are you?

www.dpreview.com - excellent for explainations, forums and reviews of equiptment.

www.fredmiranda.com - again, good reviews, also forums, though with a bit of attitude. Fun to read and learn here.

www.lexar.com/dp/tips_lessons/index.html - Lexar's very informative list of tutorials

www.photolife.com - a Canadian photo mag with some excellent photo tips and tutorials, also I find it very inspiring to see what pro's and amatuers can do. Also, they have an annual photo contest.
