Photography on Castaway Cay

I was wondering if the Disney ship photographers take pictures on Castaway Cay, and can you schedule a session with them? I always have a 13-year portrait done of my children, and with my sons we happened to be at the beach on vacation (Gulf Shores, and then Hawaii) so we were able to hire a photographer to get their pictures on the beach. (We did a family photo as well.) Is it possible to do this on Castaway Cay? It's time for my daughter to have her picture made, and I would love a professional beach picture to match her brothers. (I'm assuming you can opt out of the colorful borders and just get the photograph.)

Other than the photos with characters or in the case of a wedding, I didnt think so. I do remember photographers walking around taking random action shots along the beach- but that was awhile ago and no one has reported this lately.

Last year there were several photographers roaming the beach. We asked in shutters prior to Castaway Cay were we could get our kids pictures taken on the beach and they replied" Don't worry, we will find you". I don't think you will have a problem finding a photographer unless things have drastically changed.

There were a lot of them on our December cruise. My favorite pic from that trip, actually one of my favorite ever, is one of my husband and son playing on the sand. I framed it. Anyway, they did a great job with photos on the beach.

We just did a DCL in June and there were lots of photographers on the beach and in the water taking lots of pics- we got quite a few.

Has anyone ever seen these photographers on Serenity Bay, the adults only beach?
