Photography Magazines

I like to get magazines about things that I am interested.... so right now I am looking for a good photography magazine....

Suggestions???

I subscribe to popular photograpahy, but I usually buy a couple more in a month. Some that I read are: Outdoor Photography, Shutterbug, and Digital Photography.

I subscribe to Popular Photography and American Photo. I will pick up Outdoor Photograhpy from time to time as well.

For US photo mags I like Outdoor Photography. However, IMO, the best photo mags come from the UK. If you have a Barns and Noble Bookstore near you that has a large magazine department then you can probably find some there.

2 I really like are Practical Photography and Digital Camera Magazine

They are on the expensive side to purchase here in the States ($9 and $12 IIRC), but I think they are so much better put together, have better reviews, better tutorials and have better pictures. I believe you can get a subscription that would end up costing about $6 or 7. I've been seriously thinking of subscribing. I end up getting at least 1 of them (if not both) each month.

That is so true, and I wonder why. Every time I go to Borders or B&N, I end up with a photography magazine from the UK. Practical Photography is one of my favorites too, and the name of the other one I like escapes me at the moment. I feel guilty spending ten bucks on a magazine, but hey, it's cheaper than another book!

I don't generally pick up photo magazines, but my experience is that UK magazines in general are higher quality... their automotive and PC game magazines put US ones to shame. I'm not sure why that is, but it seems to be that way.

I try to avoid magazines in general nowadays... there's just so much on the internet to read. I have subscriptions to one or two just for reading in the can.
