They normally can be found in flocks...

....in the suburban parks but also in Native Bushland (habitat).

Well, here goes my first entry!! I had nothing better to do this afternoon (after starting work at 330am, and then watching Australia get annihilated in the cricket against England , oh and getting soaked to the skin coming home from work!!!), so I played with the only snowflake I'm going to see this January in Brisbane!! It's not great, but I was trying a new "toy" to get some bokeh, but I think I need lots more practice! You can see a few little star shapes, though, so something worked!!

Today, Melbourne daytime temperatures hit a high of 30 C (high 70's to low 80's F). Ain't no snow nor ice in Melbourne!....

DS and I went to visit the Melbourne Aquarium, which has the only patch of credible snow available in Melbourne right now.
The Aquarium is home to these Critters - Emperor Penguins

And Gentoo Penguins. So, I figured I could submit these shots under Snow Scenes

I also took a very, very, very good look around...for the only thing that could qualify for an Icicle!

There was also a display of clothes that people wear at the Antarctic....

No earmuffs, nor do I think that a Floyd Turbo or Mad Bomber Hat is in vogue in the Southern Continent....but I think I see a Snow Shoe.

Yup! Up to my old Mischief...like the sign on the T-shirt.

And whilst I was looking around at the other critters, I came across these Glass Fish, swimming In Unison.
