This was taken on the Fort Wilderness boat when it was being docked. A heavy rain storm started when we were half way across the lake. For the next week we heard the boat captains referring to it as the monsoon storm

Thanks! He's been taking photos since at least 5 years old. I'd like to say he gets it from me but he is sooooo much like my FIL who passed before he was born that I think he gets it from him. My FIL was an orthopedic surgeon but he was a good photographer. Had a dark room and used to hand tint photos.

Finally got around to uploading some pics...

Heres a Local fountain thats nearly 100 years old, found at Gore Park in Hamilton Ontario, it just got refurbished and is more beautiful than ever. I beleive this was 10 seconds...

I was going to use this as my Giant phot but have opted just to keed it as my Adirondack Chair... its not a great photo but what do you expect when I pull off the road with DW cringing in Humiliation as I whip out the camera to take photos of this when I spotted it by mistake (loger Story) in St Catherines...

This is the phot I decided to use for Giant. Its a landmark in Hamilton that is easily visible from the QEW. It is the Giant Globe at the sewage treatment plant. The ball park here was known as Dofasco Park until 15 years ago when Dofasco built a new park on Stoney Creek Mountain taking the name with them, now the Diamonds here are known as Globe Prak, the best ball park in the city, unfortunately the City has decided to shut the park down... this is our last season here, sadly...

Here is my DS today after the Last Day of School, screaming "FREEDOM!!!!" As loud as he can! Lol, it was quite the moment for him...

We started following signs to a dam only to come upon a parking lot over looking the lake and this map. I got my camera out to take photos of the lake and when I turned around I found my DH looking lost at the map - we couldn't find the dam!

Moose* Was really struggling to think of where I could find a moose of any sort when I drove past this billboard! Hope this is ok.

I've been looking at the same billboard poster on my way to work all week!! I was planning on taking a shot tomorrow.....what am I going to do now for a moose??

I probably will if he has any that fit the categories. Yes, it's fun to see him laying on the ground taking pictures, he gets into it when he's shooting, for sure. He may have one or two for the POD. Every summer we also enter a local photog contest (DD too). So far, they've won all the ribbons, I haven't gotten any. Maybe this will be my year, though.

Yeah....that's him. lol I didn't even realize he'd done that until I loaded the pics onto my computer....

As for the bird....well, it was eating....and it was close-up....and neither of my children were impressed by that pic either. But I just couldn't pass it up!
