Today, I went hunting for a Lighthouse.

Whilst I was there, I had another one of my casual 2-minute flings with a complete stranger. The things I do for this Hunt!


Like so many of these casual flings, I never really got this Critter's name...so let's go with Jonathan Livingstone Seagull.

JLS and I had one of those instant connections. He seemed to instinctively know that I was also looking for a proper shot of Bird in Flight.

Turns out that JLS was a natural poser…

He knew before me that there was one more potential picture for me to get….

.....and pretty much had to "lead me on" with more fluttering before I finally got the picture....a little late!

What else do you do on a wet, cold winter's day? Buy yourself some flowers, of course!! Serves two purposes - cheers me up, and allows me to take some more photos for the scavenger hunt. I will see how I go next week actually going out doors, but for now this is it!!

I went out yesterday and got some watrerfowl with babies. As these swans swam over to us (we were on a wooden footbridge) they made sure their baby got inbetween them. And the baby was soo cute!

These ducklings are almost all grown up, but the mother was still on the lookout for them
