Photography Board Assignment, June-Sept, 2011: Summer Scavenger Hunt

I had a bit of fun this morning in the back yard playing with bubbles! Haven't done that since I was a kid!!! :rotfl: But they can be hard little blighters to catch with a camera! I will have to try again to see if I can do better. These are the best of 77 photos I took this morning!! Thank goodness for digital!!!

PrincessInOz, you've shared some great pictures. :goodvibes

Thank you.

PrincessOfOz I just have to tell you how much I enjoy your posts! I start to giggle to myself and my family thinks I'm crazy, but they just make my day! You have so much fun with this, I'm think I am just trying to hard to improve and not letting the fun come out in my pictures. Great job!!!!!

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the pictures. I've certainly been enjoying taking them...except it's a lot colder and wetter in Melbourne this year!

I've also been enjoying looking at everyone's pictures this year.

I really had to think twice about posting this, but I think you might find it as funny as I did. Funny sign

That right, 10 minutes East from my door step is Toby Keith's (one of our Oklahoma's great Country artist) home! You can get better view during the winter months when the leaves are off the trees. Tomorrow you will get 10 minutes West and you will still be inpressed:rotfl2:

Finially the Gnome which was much harder than I thought it would be to get.

Oops - I skipped over Pirate flag on the list! Good catch! And I waited and waited and waited for the wind to blow so I could get the flag, too.

Off to edit my post....thanks!

Loving all the shots - it's great to see how the same categories can be interpreted all over the world. I think the funny sign is hotting up to be my favourite category!

OK, starting with the one that got away - last year there was a category for Cigar Store Indian. We don't have those in the UK but I looked everywhere I went - just in case.
And look what I found yesterday! A year too late but still had to share!
