Looking Down - I couldn't get closer to the bluff as I was behind a second fence here, so it isn't quite what I wanted to get.

A few more!

Farmers Market:

This is a farmers market which is held in the middle of the CBD in Brisbane every Wednesday. I stumbled on it yesterday when I went in to the city for lunch with a friend!

Hammock:

Not immediately obvious as a hammock, but this stall had loads for sale!!

Americana:

Unfortunately I didn't have any - I was going elsewhere for lunch!!

This made me wonder (how do I say this?) - is money in Australia worth about the same as money in the US? Just because I saw some similar watermelons yesterday and they were about the same price!

Money in Australia is about the same as money in the US....But I was wondering if the price of your watermelons was in lbs or kgs.....

Was watermelon $4/lb (:scared1:) or about $2/lb?
I saw some $4 for a quarter (of a whole watermelon, in a supermarket), like in the pic (didnt' see kg in pic till you mentioned it). I have no idea how many lbs that is. But that was high. I get a whole watermelon every week at a fruit stand I go to for $6, sometimes $5 depending who's there. :thumbsup2

I am never going to complain when I pay $4 for a whole watermelon again. Although the price of gas to get to Lancaster probably makes the watermelon $8 each. OK not really, I go with my mom and she always drives. :lmao:

I will have more pics this weekend. I have to find them. I know I had them in my computer and they aren't there. Maybe a pic of my computer for haunted.

Hi Linda! There are about 2lbs to a kilo, so our $4 per kilo would equate to about $2 per lb. They have been transported about 300 kms (approx 190 miles) to get to Brisbane - don't know whether that makes a difference!! We are not really in watermelon season at the moment, but winter so far has been relatively mild, so that might be why they are at the market!
And I will try that pizza on another day! It looked quite good!! :)

Jumping in here finally! I've been dealing with memory issues on my laptop but now have things moved over to an external HD so I can finally work on my photos from our California trip from the last week of June.

But I do have a few from a couple of months before that fit the categories. I'll start with those.
