Photography advice

Well, bad news. Since I had to change my date Randy Chapman is booked the entire day, so I need a new photographer. I am not getting married through DFTW so I need to find someone else. Can anyone help?

There have been a few brides who have used other photographers in the area...I found THIS LINK it's actually Rev. Tim's site and he has lots of vendors listed there (many of whom I have seen mentioned here before).

And keep checking back, I know there are a couple of brides out there who chose other photographers as well!

Thanks. I was pretty bummed about Randy. I also contacted Taz but he is booked too! I am probably going to go with Misty Miotto. Does anyone have any experience with her? Did anyone use her for makeup too?

I am a Wedding Photographer in the UK, Disney Groom (Sept 05) and all round Disney lover.
As an excuse to go to Disney, I would be more than happy to shoot your wedding for the price of the flight and accomodation.
I know this sounds like a bizarre suggestion, but I could fly out a couple of days before, meet up with you and shoot your wedding and I would use the opportunity to top up on my Vitamin D(isney) !! LOL.

I just met with Misty Miotto last night and have spoken with her on the phone a couple of times. Let me tell you I love her already!! She is someone you would want to be your best girlfriend and hang out with...she is honest..straightforward....down to earth....and from what I saw very...very...talented. She brought up a good point to me also...she said I am a woman so I know all the things women worry about with their bodies and so forth....so as a woman I keep all those things in mind when I am taking photos and make sure I get angles that are flattering and tell you if your hair is messed up, etc. Her prices are about the best I have seen out there and she offers sooooo much with her packages. If I were you I would definetly speak with her.

Thanks for the info. I actually sent her a deposit last week. I love that she has 2 little girls and so do we so she understands how important it is to me to get great shots with them and be really patient. Her package prices are great and I am so excited. I may have her do my makeup too. I haven't decided yet.
