Some of the local geese that live on our lake.
This is from my first day with a d-slr since I quit shooting 35mm 15 yrs ago. I'm pretty excited to be shooting again.

Pretty cat! Love to see all the critters, but I am partial to the cats ;)

Here is Jax...got him from the SPCA today.... I guess I'm nuts too....

Congrats on your new Feline Baby

This is Ash, our 14 year old on his favorite perch, my office chair! He watches me while I work on my photos and occasionally tries to climb up on my head (it was easier when he was a kitten).

How cute!

Did a little Spring cleaning today, and everywhere we turned our cat Panda was there wanting to lend a helping paw....either that, or just wanted to get petted. :rolleyes1

I'm enjoying looking at everyone's pets and kudos to those with their new adoptee's, but the face on this cat really just caught me and I had to comment. What an expression!

Another one from today--taking a break from the cleaning and enjoying the 65 degree weather. Can you tell where the dogs use the bathroom in our back yard? The only places where the grass has grown in yet for the season!

Somebody got a bath!!
This is Gizzie our grand puppy!

O.K., first know that I don't keep my dogs confined unless we are not home.

I put up a double kennel last week for our husky and lab. We have nicknamed this new maximum security facility "Puppy Guantanamo." Here are a couple of shots of one of the inmates who may look like she is upset about being locked up, but I assure you that she absolutely loves it in there and is being treated very well and humanely :lmao:. Oh, and the cinder block is there to prevent any further escape attempts from the bottom left corner of the doorway.

Very funny. We also don't lock up the dogs unless we are not home, but even then...lots of destruction is always possible. They are just shy of 2 years old and when we came home yesterday, we found a shoe and a whole 12 pack of toilet paper shredded in the dining room (where we keep them). It was my fault, I forgot to put the stuff away...but still. It's times like those when I am tempted to put up the double kennel as well. :)

Oh yes. Labs + shoes = not good (and apparently toilet paper too :lmao:).

So far, I've had to chase our husky three times after escaping from our back yard (small places in the fence she can squeeze under). Those places have since been fixed, but she loooooooooves to dig and she's really good at it, so keeping her in a kennel is a must when she can't be supervised.

I've been suprisingly lucky with shoes/toilet paper with my lab. His favourite thing is socks. He'll grab them at any chance he gets. He never rips them, just carries them around and flaunts them in front of you. When you get up to get the sock away from him, he runs away.

My baby girl is 5 today! She celebrated by raiding my show bag; she scored about a half bag of treats that I was saving for this weekend. Labbies are sooooooo bad! LOL

Grace is a beautiful lab! How big is she? Our lab, Sadie is on the small side... only about 55 lbs.

Happy Birthday Grace! Hershey will be 5 in 2 weeks. Where'd the time go:confused3

Todd, your husky is beautiful and has that look of trouble written all over her face:) My brother had one with one blue eye, one brown eye. Great dog:goodvibes He passed away last year at 15.5. He was energetic even at 15.
