Photographic Pet Peeves at Disney

These folks don't understand that by using their flash no only do they ruin other's people enjoyment of the ride...but their pictures look terrible.

And sometimes yours do too! I have had a handful of my own dark ride shots over the years ruined by someone else's flash - I review my photos and am surprised to find some huge, blown out mess with all the behind the scenes lit up bright, because my high-ISO big aperture shot was timed just perfectly with someone else's flash firing.

Using the flash when it's against the rules does bother me as well. Many people who do that not only have no clue that it won't help their images but they also don't know how to turn it off.

Great point...you are absolutely correct.

It isn't even that coincidental. If you think about it.

The boat on PotC makes a turn and something cool happens. You pitch up your camera with a fast prime and pull the trigger on a 1/15th second exposure (image stabilization is a wonderous thing). Now during that 15th of a second is it impossible to think that a 1/1000th second flash or two might go off at the same time?
