My entire family will be in Disney in September. Ages range from 8 months to 67. All I want for Mother's Day, birthday, Christmas, my 40th wedding anniversay, etc, etc, etc is at least 1 good family picture of all of us preferably in front of the castle, but I would be thrilled with more than 1. I have not done good keeping up with Covid rules and regulations so I am not sure if Magical Memories are taking pictures now or not or if I can hire a photographer that will come to the park. Any thoughts about using a photographer or Magical Memories and/or any thoughts on places that would be great backgrounds for the pictures. This may be the only chance I get to have everyone together so I would love to have a family photo. Thank you.

I got married at WDW and had a portrait session in front of the castle. Just keep in mind there are a lot of rules (even before Covid) and limitations. Some locations are only before park opens or after it closes. Wedding pictures you may have seen of couples in front of the castle and it being still dark out....it's not because it's night time, it's because it's before 5 am in the morning.

We are heading to WDW in November for my mom's 70th birthday. There will be 12 of us. We'd really like to do the "capture your moment" for some great family pictures, but I see the max is 8. Is there any way to make this happen? Can we pay for 2 sessions?

Here is their "answer". Total copy and paste from their website. At some point, I will call those numbers to see if I can get an answer.

Thank you for inquiring about the Capture Your Moment experience, and a very happy birthday!

Our Capture Your Moment experience invites Guests to celebrate a special moment, such as a birthday, in Magic Kingdom® Theme Park for up to 20 minutes with one of our Disney PhotoPass® photographers!

At the start of your session, your photographer will meet you at Box Office Gifts inside Town Square Theater then escort you to a capture location that has a view of Cinderella Castle. Available capture locations will be provided by your photographer at the start of your session and are subject to change based on inclement weather and park operations. The maximum party size is eight Guests per session. You may be able to book consecutive sessions, based upon availability.

Please note that if Guests have a Disney PhotoPass® entitlement, like Memory Maker or a qualifying Annual Pass, they can download the photos the photographer captures during the experience at no extra cost. Otherwise, photos captured by the photographer must be purchased separately.

I was able to talk to someone on the phone regarding being able to have 12.

The guy was super nice and tried so many ways to get an answer, but nobody responded to him. His best guess was to have them book 2 times (back to back) and then have them add notes about there being 12 people and that's why 2 sessions were booked.

My trip isn't until November, so I'll call back 60 days out to try this.
