Photobooks in Canada

I'd like to make a photo book for the first time. I've read a lot of good comments on these boards for Blurb.com
Have any of you Canadians ever used it? Did you have to pay extra fees for customs when you received it? I wonder where the books are printed and sent from.
FYI - I live in the Montreal area.
Do you have any other site to recommend for a high quality book and easy to use software?

I used Shutterfly for a photobook I made of our cruise and I thought it was great for the price!

I have used both Shutterfly and Picaboo, and were very pleased with both. Overall, I liked the finished product from Shutterfly the best, yet Picaboo had some features that were better than Shutterfly.

Shutterfly's book took longer to arrive than Picaboo, but to be fair, it was admidst the Canada Post strike so I'm sure that compounded the problem a lot (I think it was part of the "backlog" that took a while to clear).

No duties or tax were charged to me on delivery of either book.

Never pay full price as listed on their websites. Sign up for an account with both and you will be advised of sales as they occur. I find that photobooks of one size or an another (or several) are almost always among their discounted offers.

I've used photobook Canada and mypublisher from the US. My publisher was easier (faster) and it shipped quickly, but I paid a fortune in customs and duty. Quality was great in both. Some of the pages in the book I did with Photobook Canada came out printed in the wrong order, but they shipped me 3 new books (I'd ordered 3) printed properly when I contacted them. They are pricey, but you can get great deals. The quality is great.

This is great info. My daughter has tried 3 times to order a photo book on her MacBook and it cancels her order 4 days later each time. Very frustrated. May try shutter fly. I love their photo websites you can personalize.
