Did any of you ordered that book were you satisfied ?? also how long does it take to do ( customize ) ?? let's say your not finished can you let's say work on it the day after ???? without loosing all you have done ??
Is there a special if I buy 2 books ???
thanks !

I have tried many different online photobooks, except for Disney's. I have found picaboo.com to be far and above the best I have tried. Can't speak for the Disney book. Picaboo allows you to customize the pages in ways none of the others I have tried. Virtually any jpg image can be a background in a picture (think panoramic picture of the castle with a few smaller shots of your happy faces placed over the castle shot). Its very cool, but can get pricey. There is a base fee and then a per page fee after so many pages. There are often 50% off codes and buy one large get one small free (works as a great grandparents book). If you take as long as I do to work one all the way through, they can come in handy if you are patient.. JMO.

I ordered one after our trip last April. We didn't have a ton of pics on the photo pass, but there were some family ones that I "had" to have. No way was I spending the price for the cd. So, for $69.99 I uploaded my pics & used the photo pass pics to make our album. It was fairly quick & easy. There weren't a lot of options and a couple of the pics that I uploaded were cropped a little off. But, overall it turned out very nice. The book reminds me of my highschool year book, in quality. If I hadn't wanted the photopass pics, I wouldn't have done it this way. The best part was that our album was done w/in 2 weeks of returning from our trip. This is huge considering the album that I am doing from our 2005 trip is only half done. :guilty: Oh yeah, I ended up going over the page limit & paid for additional pages. It was still cheaper than if I'd bought all the Creative Memory supplies & done it myself. Everyone I've shown it to loves it and DD really enjoys looking through it.

Oops, I didn't answer all your question.
I worked on it over a few days. You can save your work & continue later. Just get it all done & ordered before your photo pass expires. Or, it will all disappear.
It was pretty easy. I uploaded over 100 of my own pics, but it went pretty fast.
I did have a few glitches when adding text. Sometimes it wouldn't show it all & I was afraid it would be printed that way, so I shortened the text. After getting the album, it is really easy to just write in some additional details with a pen. Although, I haven't done this yet; I do plan to.
As far as price goes. The lower price is when you only use your photopass pics. The higher price is when you also upload your own pics. You also pay for additional pages. I don't remember how much. I went way over w/my book and it was still under $100 completed.
I just looked through the album, again, and I really do like it. It is made by "Jostens". The pages are a nice weight, so they won't tear easily and the colors are vibrant. Also, what backgrounds they had were really nice to. Overall, I would probably do it again just because it was so quick & easy.

This works SOOOO much better than scrapbooking - at least for me! I love to scrapbook, but I am still working on our 1st Disney trip from May of 2006. We've been 2 times since then and are about to go on our 4th trip. So...we tried the book last time. It turned out really great.

It took me several days to upload all of my pics (around 800) and we also used our photo pass pics. I worked on placing the pics at various times on various days and was able to save what I had done so far each time.

The only thing I wish was different was that Disney offered more layouts. I ended up using the same ones several times each. I also went over the page limit and paid for more pages. I don't know if this is still an issue, but when I typed in text for certain pages that held up to 100 characters, the preview would only show part of what I had typed in. I emailed Disney and they said that all of the text would show up in the finished product. In the text boxes that held 250 or more characters, all of the text would show up in the preview.

Also, if you run out of time with your photo pass pics, email them and they will reinstate your account. This happened to me while I was waiting for their response about the text boxes.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the book and will make one again for our next trip!
