Photobombs & Premium Bars: A DxDP DR Where the Prince's Eat the World! *COMPLETE*

Firstly, I am glad you came back to finish this, I was wondering where you had got to.

Secondly, the 'mystery' dish at Le Cellier looks like the Lamb Rack (from Allears - Lamb Rack with truffle-celeriac puree, baby vegetables, lamb jus)

Thirdly, I think your review of Le Cellier made me decide we have to go back there. Wee have not been since 2007 and the changes to the menu, coupled with the change to a signature, had kind of put me off. But your meals look amazing. Time to try Le Cellier again, for sure.

Citricos Dinner
The Grand Floridian

Hello everyone! Still determined to get my dining review done! We had a relaxing, wonderful dinner at Citricos! This is a long-time favorite for me and my family. I have been here 3-4 times now, and enjoy it thoroughly each time. This time we were a little tired, but we still had delicious food!

First our lovely waiter brought out a loaf of their yummy olive bread.

Appetizers

Bro got the arancini. I wanted to try this so badly, but I ended up getting the shrimp (which is one of my fave apps ever!). Mom had a bite of this and thought it was delicious! My brother gobbled up the whole thing.

Arancini - Crispy Risotto with Crimini Mushrooms, Asiago, and Charred Tomato Coulis $10.00

Mom, Dad, and I got the shrimp. This is one my favorite food dishes of ALL TIME. Feta, shrimp, lemon sauce, these things are a few of my favorite things!! I had this a year ago and ate this again this summer and loved it all over again. This is fresh, shrimp is tender and flavorful, and is a bowl of heaven!

Sautéed Shrimp - Lemon, White Wine, Tomatoes, and Feta Cheese $14.00

Entrees

Bro and Mom got the veal shank. As usual, this was delicious and they both loved it.

Braised Veal Shank - Carrot-Potato Mash, Roasted Vegetables, and Toasted Citrus Gremolata $53.00

Dad got what I think is the short ribs. If I'm incorrect with this, please someone let me know! We loved this as usual!

Madeira-braised Short Ribs - Trofie Pasta, Wild Mushroom Ragout, and Truffle Creme Fraiche $43

I got the chicken. Last summer (2012) I got the chicken dish they offered, and I actually liked it better than this one (I liked the stuff they served with the chicken better in the 2012 dish). But the chicken itself is the best chicken you will put in your mouth. The flavor and crunch they get on the skin and the juiciness is amazing!

Pan-roasted Free-range Chicken Breast - Joyce fams airline chicken breast, warm root vegetables, piquillo peppers, chive oil, apple cider-chicken demi-glace, sweet potato ribbons, and red watercress $33

Desserts

Mom, Dad, and I got the cheesecake. This is my FAVORITE cheesecake Disney has to offer. It is gently lemon flavored, but the texture is divine. It is a work of art. I love it.

Lemon-scented Cheesecake - with a blanket of White Chocolate Ganache $9.00

Bro got the chocolate-banana torte. He loved this! First of all, it is beautiful and almost too beautiful to eat. I love banana so I thought this was yummy! They torch the banana so it gets crunchy. Amazing!

Warm Chocolate-Banana Torte - with Vanilla Ice Cream and Handcrafted Belgium Couverture Chocolate Crown $11.00

Citricos once again was amazing. They have tons of windows that overlook the sparkling pools of the Grand Floridian. I just love getting a little dressed up and having a fancy dinner at Citricos. It's one of my favorite signature restaurants, and I will continue to go back year after year!

So I'm going to wrap up this up before I completely forget! As I plan for my next June 2014 foodie adventure, it doesn't feel right to not finish my dining review from my '13 trip! Let's do 50's Primetime Cafe!

We had a lunch reservation. Our waitress wasn't super into the antics, but I still enjoyed watching her interact with families with young children (giving them a hard time and all!) Mom mentioned later that she was disappointed that the antics weren't crazier. I had an AMAZING experience in '12, so I might have hyped this up too much.

Appetizers

Mom and Dad got rootbeer floats. They loved these! Perfect for a hot day in the parks! p.s. You can get this as a drink on the DxDP!

I ordered the fried cheese, because I read on the boards that this was good and everyone was so sad that they took it off the menu. But now it's back, so I got it. Umm... I don't think I like this so much. Just not my thing.
Fried Herb and Garlic Cheese - served with warm Raspberry Sauce and toasted French Bread $7.99

Prime04 by elyse43230, on Flickr

Entrees

Bro got the chicken pot pie. He lied this, though he thought the puff on the top was "weird," instead of a crust. He still ate it though.
Grandma's Chicken Pot Pie - A creamy cheese mixture of chicken, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, and peas topped with a flaky pastry $18.99

Prime05 by elyse43230, on Flickr

Mom, Dad, and I all got the fried chicken! We all had to get this, because it's so stinkin' good! You can swap out sides and so we all got sides we wanted (Fried, corn, etc.). Fried chicken is awesome here!

Our last meal was at the GLORIOUS Be Our Guest! I loved this restaurant soooo much! My parents literally STILL talk about how beautiful this restaurant. The food was also superb! I think it's no joke now that this is one of the best in-park restaurants.

I got the lemonade with the souvenir goblet. I'm such a kid! I carried this around all over the park when we watched Wishes! So fun! This is on the DDP, but no refills (I just got water when I Was done!) This foam is so yummy BTW.
