B&H is shipping out A99s BEFORE the Sony Store. Incredibly aggravating only because I want this thing so badly!

I've got a package arriving tomorrow![]()

Would your package consist of an A and two 9's also? If so, I'm sure looking forward to seeing some shots.
Strangely enough - yes.
If the weather's good, I'll probably take it into work on Monday and see if I can take a shot or two of Portsmouth harbour - especially as I've got a tokina 11-16 that I can't decide whether to keep or not (it's meant to be a (pretty sharp) APS-C only lens but apparently it can be used at 15/16mm on a full frame without too many problems).
Did you order from B&H?
I'm very tempted to cancel my Sony pre-order and get from B&H next week, but by doing so I lose out on my discount, which I've been using to off-set the grip cost.
Thanks guys
$ im my big obstacle also when I comes down to what camera I get next lol. I picked up a Tamron 70-300mm f/4.0 DI LD used on Amazon for around $130 last year and its a decent lens. Better than the Sony kit 200mm I had

Mike, you shoot with the A55, right? I've mostly been shooting with the RX100, as my dslr is so outdated (A100). But it would be nice to have a more up to date dslr, so I'm thinking of picking up a used A55 body. Think I would regret it?
I dont think you would regret it at all. I went from using an A390 to the A55 and noticed a difference between the two. Its a nice camera and will be a nice upgrade for you without having to break the bank![]()
