Mike I've never payed attention to that. I've heard of the fix though. Maybe mine doesn't have problems? For that fountain Epcot shot I was right on top the fountain.

Ill have to mess around with mine a little more to see. Its probably just me lol. Id like to get some night shots with it as well that's something I haven't given a try yet. Wife and I decide to shoot up to WDW this weekend for SWW so should get a chance to get some shots then. Now I wish I got that Tamron 70-300mm I have been eye balling lol

I'm thinking of selling my Tokina 11-16 to purchase an A580 or A65 body. Does anyone have recommendations of the two. I know that the ISO performance is definitely better on the A580. I would like the A65 to use focus peaking like on my Nex. Where would you go about selling the Tokina? I have it on Craigslist but no luck yet.

I sold my Tokina (in favor of the Canon 10-22) last year on Craig's list pretty quickly for about $50 off the list price. So hang in there. The right person probably just hasn't seen it yet.

Mom2rtk, I have that next purchase bug. I have to say one thing, Sony doesn't have the same following like Canikon. It's harder to sell the Sony gear.

Ahhh... good point.

I have that next purchase bug too. I just can't settle on what it would be.

Good luck selling your lens!

Dyxum and Fred Miranda have fairly active Sony gear sales that might be faster for you. Or Ebay is always an alternative. Good luck!

Awesome picture Harry :thumbsup2

Ive sold 2 of my Sony lenses on Ebay just recently, sold both the Sony 50mm f/1.8 and then also the kit 18-55mm. I took a little bit of a loss since the Ebay market seemed to be saturated with a ton of the Sony lenses all selling new for about retail price.

Mike, cool shot. I need to practicing on my PP to keep up. I have CS5 and haven't used it yet.

That photo was a fast and quick edit, and simple. I edited the first couple photos from this trip on the drive back down yesterday afternoon actually lol. In Lightroom I cropped it to to get McQueen closer and in frame. I may have sharpened a little but cant remember if was before or after Nik Color Effect, which is what I used to get that metallic look the picture has. Just applied the detail extractor setting and it came out to my liking with one of their default settings. Then sent it back into Lightroom and exported it. All the photos you see on my Flickr page from this weekend have been processed using only Lightroom and Nik Color Efex, haven't used Photoshop on any yet. Very time consuming for me.

PS I didnt see that kids head until after I uploaded it lol. May go back and remove him eventually lol

Great idea with the framing.:thumbsup2

Thanks Harry :)
Had to stand there for a min until the wind slowed down enough to move that branch exactly where I wanted it lol. I'm trying to slow down and think before I just click away and work on my composition (which is lacking sometimes lol). Was able to get out to the parks this weekend while my wife and kids stayed at the hotel and hung out and able to take some pics while not being rushed.

It's nice to get a break from the family to focus on photography. Just don't let your wife know you had a great time without them! :)
