Mike, I have a similar shot like that at our local swamp trail. I love using the fisheye on trees. Do you find the lens any sharper when using the zoom feature on you camera?

Man I love the night shots you get with that Nex 7 and yes that focus zoom was such a huge help and has me excited again about that lens. I was starting to lose faith in it. Thank Harry

You're welcome Mike! I find the rokinon lenses to be quite sharp. When I used it on my D5100, I would focus to 3ft. andlleave it alone. When I got the Nex I realized that when set that way even at f8-16 not everything was focused properly. The Nex 7 always amazes me especially because it's so small. It shouldn't be that good:-D

Now that you showed me that little trick it seems like 1ft focus has been its sweet spot. Ive have been trying to give myself more time taking each shot and even with my other lenses have found I been throwing it in manual focus a little more than I have used to. Do you find you use that 100mm a lot or just here and there? I have a 50mm and I always feel like its just too close and cant get what I want into the frame even when backing up if the room permits. Looks like you girls had such a blast in that picture

I find the 100 my go-to lens when shooting the girls playing.They are camera shy so I have to keep my distance. For $100 it's really sharp and fun to use.

Is that Dunes River Falls? I have always wanted to go over to Jamaica and go experience them along with the river tubing and alpine coaster. Looks like you had a fun trip

It is actually YS Falls. It is on an estate in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. We loved it! Since it was away from the ports, there were not a lot of people there and there were no people hassling us to buy souveniers. I had heard that Dunn's River has a lot of people pressuring you into buying stuff. YS Falls has a small gift shop, restaurant, tubing, and zip lining. I would highly recommend it if you want to just relax.
