I have a self-portrait much like Sha's and PhotobearSam's; but my favorite is a non- self portrait from my 5 day trip on the Arkansas River in Colorado last summer.
I'll play! I have a few good ones from a while ago (2006/2007) when I was trying out self portraits.
#1 Laying on a bed, holding the camera up above me.
#2 'Photographer in Action', me running towards my scared target (my Mom) with camera in hand. Another camera set up on tripod.
#3 'Fall Asleep Dreaming' Camera set up behind me pretending to have fallen asleep on my laptop, dreaming of my friends which are on the screen. Mixed with one of my favorite things which is Disney with the Mickey Clock and Pen.
#4 Camera balanced on the ground with me climbing up a children's play area
Not exactly a self portrait, but a shot taken by my 10 YO daughter at a Civil War living history program at Shiloh National Military Park a few weeks ago. I had given her some instruction on half-shutter-press-focus-lock-and-recompose and I guess she was experimenting with it. She was using my Nikon D50 and the 70-300VR lens. Lousy subject material, but pretty good technique, IMO-
Love that shot of yours. I kept hoping the ride would stop in the graveyard or in front of the mirrors so I could set up a good fun shot, but no luck. Just had to take the same old regular shot. Maybe next time.

It was fun for minute 1-4, starting to get annoying minutes 5-10, and just downright obnoxious from minutes 11-15 Being that close to the exit was a little frustrating.
I took this when I was in Las Vegas last New Years... I had my camera on the ground mounted on a gorilla pod... I didn't have a remote shutter, so i had to use the timer and quickly jump on the rail without falling over into the water... It was a sight to see
