I really want the Olympus hood for mine but it is not available at any of the places I buy from (B&H, Amazon, Adorama). It is about $40 too, these guys make Canon hoods look like a bargain!

I think that they just don't include the hood is a crime. I saw somewhere that Ebay has knockoff hoods for the 45 at around $20. I'm not sure about the quality but I may take a look.

You have got to love Adorama!! I ordered the Oly 45mm 1.8 yesterday afternoon using the free shipping option. I checked the UPS tracking and it is scheduled to be delivered today!!

Granted it is only going from NJ to Delaware but that is fast!!

You'll love it! Adorama's great to deal with. I called them yesterday to add the FL-300R flash to my order of the OM-D so I could get the rebate and it was no problem.

It usually takes a couple of days to reach Kentucky from New York.

It really is a great camera, I sold it to my SIL when I bought the E330 which DH made me give to him when I bought the E3.

I took this shot of Riley last night as I was practicing with the camera in the back yard.

I didn't even set this up. I literally held the camera down to my side and hit click as I was trying to check out something else.

I love how the light is hitting him and how he is staring at his very favorite toy, waiting for it to magically fly across the yard.
