Photo Sharing: Nikon

I have not posted on here a lot, but I am going to be in the Philly area later this week and cannot wait to go to Longwood Gardens. In addition, we are having our engagement photos taken at Eatern State Penitentiary. Hoping to be able to take some shots while we are there.

I am loving all of the photos. Scott- your work is amazing. I love the vivid colors. I didn't notice if you have what you use for your works. I use a Nikon D3000 and recently bought a Nikkor telephoto 55-300 mm

Beautiful portrait Wen!! Did you use flash at all? I like how you can see shadows...it looks very natural...

Just now seeing this. Thank you very much. No, didn't use a flash. I had full on sun happening so I spot metered and kinda used my body to try and keep the sun from directly hitting her in the face.

Lol. I guess I should have explained that. This past weekend we went with some friends to a little town in Texas called Leakey. Great place to tube the river, but not during a drought. So one night, while sitting on the porch watching the deer feed on corn in their yard, my wife said look at that light, those bugs look like worms their moving so fast. So, i grabbed my camera and tripod, set it up and bang. Took four shots and this is one after changing the colors in photoshop. The trails are not altered, just the colors. Slow shutter speed and fast moving bugs. Hope that helps.

How cool is that!!!
I took a color photography class last semester at the local JC and my teacher would have loved this too. I love the blue. I was in a blue group and had to take shots of blue things. I also "cheated" (not really cheating I think) and changed a red corvette into a blue one! The car looked better, I thought, in blue!!
The trails are just so cool.... good eye!
