Just got a Nikon D90... my very first DLSR and have spent the last month learning and practicing. I've got a ways to go.... but I'm starting to get more "keepers" than "throw aways"! Practice makes perfect, right?!!

I bought the Nikon 18-200VR lens as soon as it became available back in 2007 and traveled to WDW about a month later. The photo sequence below taken in the opening act of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Show during the trip is what totally "sold" me on the VR technology.

Another using the Nikon 18-200VR. This time on a tripod (remember to turn VR OFF when using a tripod with this lens).

Nice shot. I've been thinking about getting this lens. It gets mixed reviews, but seems a perfect lens for vacation when one doesn't want to lug around a big camera bag. What are your thoughts on it?
